PANASONIC instructions on how to input ringtone:

In phone menu select "Personalise",
then select "Tones",
then select "Melody Composer".
Choose "Edit".

You will see notes like " 555* " in the result.

This means, press "5" three times, and then press "*" once in the ringtone composer.
